Admiral FieldhouseFieldhouse was commander of the entire Task Force in this war. Based at London, he acted on information given to him by Margaret Thatcher and the War Cabinet. He worked closely with Rear Admiral Woodward (Head of the Task Force) to make crucial decisions to protect the Task Force and risk fewest lives in invading the islands. Fieldhouse was a highly decorated soldier, progressing through the rank structure with much experience as well as military tactics required to lead the Task Force. In 1981 he was appointed Commander in Cheif of the Navy.
